Community Home Services (CHS) was founded in 1995 by Dock Woods Community, Frederick Mennonite Community, Peter Becker Community, Community at Rockhill and Souderton Mennonite Homes with the goal of extending faith-based support, care and security to persons who desire to remain at home. In 2013, CHS merged with one of its founders, Community at Rockhill. Since then, CHS is a subsidiary of Community at Rockhill, officially called RM Home Services, and doing business as Community Home Services.
Mission, Values, Philosophy
The mission of CHS is to promote emotional, physical, social and spiritual well-being by providing support and care in the Mennonite/Church of the Brethren tradition of ministry. Our values are: service to others, respect of human dignity, compassion for all people, and ethical standards in business and relationships. These values are intrinsic to Community Home Services and are reflected in the way we conduct business, provide care, and relate with our community, clients and employees.
"You are not just a service; you truly care for the whole person." — C.F.
The CHS philosophy is to "care for the whole person." That is why our services are uniquely designed to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each client and family we serve.
"CHS not only improved the quality of life for my parents, but for us as well." — D.F.
